Winkelen
Winkelen South Beach kan ook, bijvoorbeeld in het Lincoln Road Shopping District, een voetgangers gebied tussen 16th en 17th street van Washington Avenue tot Alton Road. Op niet al te grote afstand van de haven ligt het “Galleria” winkelcentrum. Bayside Marketplace is een gezellige, tropisch winkelcentrum. Vanaf de haven naar het dichtbij gelegen Bayside Shopping Centrum kost een taxi ongeveer $10, -.

Uitgaan
Het uitgaansleven wordt beschouwd als één van de beste van Miami. In Iguana Cantina hoort u de allerlaatste dancemuziek en in de Martini Bar kunt u van jazz, blues en swing genieten.

Puntarenas is de hoofdstad van de gelijknamige provincie en is gelegen op een lang en smal schiereiland in de golf van Nicoya. Jarenlang was Puntarenas de belangrijkste haven van Costa Rica. Deze positie heeft de stad afgestaan aan het nabij gelegen Caldera. Puntarenas heeft nu een belangrijke positie in de ontvangst van cruiseschepen en een vissersvloot. Los Angeles staat ook bekend om Disneyworld, Hollywood, Beverly Hills of trips naar de Grand Canyon. Maar het is ook een grote autostad. Er zijn immense parkeerterreinen, precies voor de voordeur voor elk museum, elke winkel en elk openbaar gebouw. Wilt u in de voetstap of handdruk van de echte sterren staan, dan kunt u naar Mann’s Chinese Theater.
